Don’t cut cover in the recession
The FLA welcomes the British Insurance Brokers Association’s advice that businesses must not reduce their insurance cover during difficult economic times to cut costs. In our experience, this poses a significant financial risk if disaster strikes.
Members of the FLA work with businesses in the wake of disasters such as floods or fires to expedite their insurance claim. Under-insurance can cause considerable extra difficulties at what is already a stressful time. We urge businesses to keep their cover at the right level.
